Meet the professionals behind 1LG web design
Set up in 1999 1LG was the brainchild of Gail Kingswell Trueman. To allow more complex projects to be undertaken, Gianpiero Colagiacomo joined 1LG in 2002. Together Gail and GP are the driving force behind 1LG. We work with a other freelance professionals e.g. artists, photographers and printers, where additional resources are required to complete a project.
Gail Kingswell Trueman - managing partner
During a successful 10 year career as European business development manager for a large UK software development company, Gail saw the huge potential of the then emerging world of the Internet and web-based software.
Also trained in design, Gail designed the landscape plan for Mercedes Benz new UK HQ in 1998. This project involved using graphic design software and sparked Gail’s growing interest in web design, leading to the birth of 1LG in 1999.
Gail manages all aspects of 1LG marketing and customer relations from first contact to project completion. She is also involved with creative design, search engine optimization, web marketing and copywriting for web and print.
GP - technical partner
With 10 years experience in corporate software applications development and project management prior to joining 1LG, GP is our senior technical specialist for complex web applications development.
GP is responsible for SQL server database development and web based applications, including ecommerce websites, eBay stores, Ebay auction templates and interactive web applications including Flash.
GP also developed our web-based Site Administration Software (SAS) which handles web content management, ecommerce product database management, customer order and mailing list management, plus website traffic statistics.
